Shirley Santiago
Shirley is an accomplished Professional Scrum coach having trained over 4,000 professionals. She has 24 years of extensive experience and has been practicing professional Scrum for over 17 years.
She is a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Transformation Coach, a Scrum.org Professional Scrum Trainer and a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant influencing development across different organizations in Asia.
She is also an experienced Oracle Certified Enterprise Architect in the Information Technology industry mainly in architecture, application integration, development and product support. She has vast experience in Enterprise Application Integration particularly on Java Enterprise Edition component technologies and distributed application systems.
Being a Big Data Hadoop Developer and trainer, she is also instrumental in building Big Data capabilities.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and master’s degree in Information Systems (with honors) from the University of the Philippines. She earned her Doctor of Communications degree from the University of the Philippines Open University, with her dissertation “Theory of Organizational Agility through Communication: The Scrum Model”.
Shirley was the Chief Architect at RCG Global Services Offshore Delivery Center in Manila, Philippines.
Shirley is the Founder and CTO of Agile Code Consulting Co., a Scrum.org Professional Training Network (PTN), provider of Scrum.org training courses.
